Sept. 6, Office & Library closed. No council mtg due to holiday

 

Sept. 7, Due to the Labor Day Holiday, the regular meeting of the Wilsonville Town Council will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2010, 6:30 P. M., Wilsonville Town Hall, Council Chamber Room.

 

Sept. 11, Saturday, Whigmaleerie Day, 10:00 A. M. -- 3:00 P. M. Fun for all. Downtown Wilsonville.  come out and enjoy a day of celebrating our Scottish heritage, presented by the Wilsonville Civitan Club and The Town of Wilsonville. There will be vendor sales, a music festival stage, talent exhibition, chili cook-off, kids sway shop, rides for the children, Revolutionary Way Camp/re-enactment, anitque cars and tractors on display. Mark your calendar and plan to attend a day of fun. Contact Town Hall for further information.

Holiday Office Hours

 

Holiday Office Hours. The office and the library will be closed, Monday, September 6, 2010, for the Labor Day Holiday.

 

Ordinances 93-004 and 071105-1 have been repealed

The following state code will be enforced regarding firearms:

Hunting or Discharging A Firearm Near A Dwelling, Etc.

It shall be unlawful for any person to hunt or attempt to

hunt within 100 yards of any dwelling belonging to another,

whether occupied or not, without the permission of the owner or

lessee of said dwelling. Provided further, it shall be unlawful

for any person to discharge a firearm while hunting in such a

manner that any projectile strikes any dwelling or building used

for human occupation, whether occupied or not, or any commercial

vessel, without the permission of the owner or lessee of said

dwelling, building or vessel. This regulation shall not apply

to a landowner or member of his or her immediate family hunting

on his or her own property provided that no projectile strikes

any of the above stated property of another without the

permission of the owner or lessee of said property.
