Richard Atchison

Hello, my name is Richard Atchison and I am running for Wilsonville town council. I am 57 years old.  I have lived in the Wilsonville area my entire life. I went to Wilsonville Elementary School and graduated high school from Shelby County High School. I am married and have two adult children. I am a Christian with conservative values. I am a deacon at Wilsonville Baptist Church. I have been locally employed in the steel fabrication industry for 28+ years. I was on the board of directors for 8+ years at a local private Christian school. I have served on the industrial  development and zoning board for the town. I have been involved with the Wilsonville fire department for 25+ years. I also have extensive knowledge of the Wilsonville water system. I am a certified welding inspector and a private pilot. As a councilman I have helped the town maintain a positive cash flow. If you‘re looking for someone to always vote yes to everything that is brought before the council, then I may not be your guy. I think about each problem or situation that is brought to the council. I always strive to do the right thing for the people of Wilsonville. I have worked hard to do that the past four years and I will continue to do so. Thank you for your support on Election Day !
